Launches 2010 at Intercool:

Five new products have been launched by Schwarmstedter in 2010 – and those will be presented in the limelight of the Intercool-appearance by the specialist auf deep frozen potato specialties. The Mini Potato Pockets go ahead – in both versions for adults and children.

1. Fingerfood and Ethno out of the "Party-Box"
For many years already Schwarmstedter is marketleader with Potato Pockets at retailers with steady growing market shares. Besides the product quality it is also the high share of fillings and the large range of varieties that make them so successful.
Now Schwarmstedter launches a variation that extends the success to the numerous fingerfood reasons all the year over: the Mini Potato Pockets of the "Party-Box".

Schwarmstedter Mini Potato Pockets, weight per piece 25 g, have three different spicy new party fillings:

• Chakalaka, a hot South African spice mixture
• Tomato-Chutney, sweet and spicy Indian kind
• Jamaica Reggae, Carribbian kind with hot pepper

The new Schwarmstedter Minis pick up the fingerfood trend as well as the trend for ethno food. They excellently suit as small hot snack in between meeting some friends on a glass of wine or beer up to a party with many guests. Heated in the oven they are a quickly done alternation and attendance to each drink. Taken by a fork or directly by the fingers it is fun to enjoy the small potato pockets and their different fillings. All those who like it spicy and varied will have pleasure.

2. Children love it: Schwarmstedter Minis filled with tomato sauce
The "Mini Potato Pockets", filled with tomato sauce made from valuable ingredients especially for nowaday's kids are a fantastic alternative. They are crunchy and small, only 25 g per piece, but well filled with a less spicy tomato sauce. They are tasty and make fun especially since they can be taken as fingerfood.

In no time they are prepared: simply deep frozen out of the pack into the (mini) oven, the pan, the deep frying pan or on to the grill, too – and only few minutes later the Minis are ready to be enjoyed.

3. „Favourite Croquettes” made from roesti-rasp

One can get Schwarmstedter potato relish by crunchy "Lieblings-Kroketten" („Favourite Croquettes“), too: made from freshly rasped whole potatoes. Also available in organic quality.

For these roesti croquettes – like for all other Schwarmstedter potato specialties – no residues, no remained parts are used. They are all made from the entire freshly pared potato.
After blanching the potatoes cool down for hours, so the cells can close again. And the nutrients remain to the greatest possible extend when being rasped. The prebaking happens in valuable rape seed oil. Without hydrolyzed fats. No flavourings, flavour enhancers and no dye stuff are processed. Free of gluten.

Therefore: smell and taste are unique potatoly fresh.

4. "Giant Roesti" for the ravenous appetite

Like directly from the pan to the plate: The 200 g and 15 cm diameter the Schwarmstedter “Riesen-Rösti” (Giant Roesti) is exact what it should be when being hungry.

Of course the „Giant Roesti“ has got all the well known Schwamstedter quality aspects: “Extra-Quality” made by the entire freshly pared potato from controlled cultivation – with no residues or stored parts at all. Therefore: smell and taste are unique potatoly.
The “Giant Roestis” guarantee highest quality in processing and high grade ingredients such as valuable rapeseed oil instead of hydrolyzed fats. No flavourings, flavour enhancers and no dye stuff are processed. And they are free of gluten.

5. "Potato Gratin" for goumets

In France as a country of gourmets it has captured many kitchens already named as "Gratin Dauphinois". Now it is served on German plates, too: the Schwarmstedter “Potato Gratin”.

The attractive gratin made from light yellow up to golden patato slices with wonderful white cream cheese sauce is already very good looking – but it tastes even better than that.
That makes gourmets feel like God in France resp. live the life of Riley.
