Restaurants Cooking for Victory

From 10 September to 3 October 2010 45 restaurants from in and around Düsseldorf will once again be inviting the city’s gourmets to partake in the “tour de menu gusto”. This time the chefs have created menus in tune with five themed categories and now hope for a positive verdict from gourmets and, of course, the chance to win the Crown as the Best Restaurant in their category.
This will be the fourth “culinary autumn” with the “tour de menu gusto” to be held now in and around Düsseldorf. Approx. 45 chefs de cuisine have taken to their pans again to develop their autumn menus. These menus will be offered for tasting at the restaurants from 10 September to 3 October. Five themed categories are in the focus this time: “Oysters, Mussels & Co.”, “Mediterranean Lightness”, “Regional, Seasonal – Yummy”, “Hot & Exotic” as well as “Truffles – Refined & Exclusive”.
Visitors are not only in for a unique menu at sensational promotional prices not to mention a lovely dinner/lunch, they can also win an attractive prize – even with just one stamp in their Gourmet Pass. For their part the chefs also hope for lots of high scores from guests thereby helping them to win the crown in their respective category. At the same time, service staff will also be competing for the highest number of votes because they can win the Haaner Felsenquelle Service Award.
